Pregnancy goes by quickly. It is a unique moment in your life, and after a few years, it can be difficult to remember all the small details of it.
A pregnancy photoshoot is a way to keep those memories alive and create photographs that you can share with your child in the future.

A natural photography experience
I don’t see maternity photography as a series of perfect poses. I prefer to walk with you, talk, follow the light and let the photographs happen naturally.
We can walk through quiet streets, stop beside a canal, cross a bridge or find a less crowded corner of the city.
The photoshoot becomes a relaxed walk through Venice, while I photograph you, your relationship and this special time before your baby arrives.
Just you, or the whole family
The session can focus on the mother, but it can also become a family experience. Your partner can be part of the photographs, as well as older brothers and sisters.
There are no strict rules. We can decide together how much time to dedicate to maternity portraits, couple photographs or family pictures.
The goal is to create images that show who you are at this moment in your life.

Venice offers many possibilities for a pregnancy photoshoot. We can choose beautiful and iconic locations, or look for quieter places away from the busiest areas.
It depends on the atmosphere you are looking for: romantic, elegant, relaxed or completely natural.
As a local photographer, I can help you choose the right route and the best time of day for the light and the kind of photographs we want to create.
Not comfortable in front of the camera?
That’s completely fine. I will guide you when needed, but I don’t want to create complicated poses. My job is to create a relaxed atmosphere where you can forget about the camera for a while.
The best photographs often happen when you stop thinking about being photographed.
When should we do the photoshoot?
Many women choose to have their maternity photos taken between 28 and 36 weeks, but every pregnancy is different.
If you are visiting Venice, we can discuss the best time for your session depending on how you feel and the kind of photographs you would like.

I don’t want to simply photograph a pregnancy. I want to tell the story of a moment in your life: the two of you, or your family, just before everything changes with the arrival of a new person.
